It gives people and companies the confidence to buy homes, employ teams, transport goods, build infrastructure and recover when something goes wrong. When serious losses occur, insurance provides the financial support needed to repair damage, continue operating and move forward.

We experienced its importance firsthand after a bike accident in San Francisco in 2024. Travel insurance protected us from medical expenses that could have exceeded US$100,000.
But receiving that support was far more difficult than it should have been.
For almost a year, we went back and forth between hospitals, insurers and our insurance broker, managing paperwork, follow-ups and administrative delays while trying to recover.
Without insurance and the support of insurance brokers, the financial consequences could have been devastating. Yet the process revealed how much unnecessary administrative work still exists across the industry.
We are committed to removing that burden.
At the same time, the insurance broking industry is attracting fewer young professionals. As experienced brokers retire over the next decade, the industry may struggle to replace their knowledge and capacity. Without change, commercial insurance risks becoming slower, more expensive and harder to access.
We imagine a different future for the next generation of brokers.
